St. John’s Wort for Depression

St. John’s Wort has been used for centuries to treat a variety of illnesses.  Its most popular use today is to treat mild to moderate depression; and in fact, it is the best-selling anti-depressant in Germany.  It is now the best selling medicinal herb in the United States.  The oil of this herb is good for stomach problems, while the oil made from the exterior part of the plant is good for wounds, sores, bruises and skin problems.

St. John’s Wort tea may help in fighting cases of major and mild depression; relieve pain, especially those coming from spinal injuries and puncture wounds; may also help in clearing bruises, sores and other skin problems; in treatment of anemia, fighting headaches, jaundice and clearing chest congestion. It should be noted that St. John’s Wort may increase sensitivity to sunlight.

We believe in healing through natural vitamins and herbs.  We at www.mysticaltalk.com  enjoy St. John’s Wort tea as one of our favorites.  Follow us on our journey to wellness.  Peace, Love and Music always!
