In life, it is healthy to realize how important it is to laugh at yourself.  You need to be comfortable enough with yourself, and who you are, to do so.  Life is too short to worry about not being, or appearing, perfect.  Making someone laugh with you will make both you and the other person feel better.  Laughing is truly contagious.  It starts with a little smile and broadens as it engages more of the face, ultimately resulting in a carefree, happy, stress-releasing, deep belly laugh.  It is not physically possible to not feel good when you are responsible for making someone else laugh, and in doing so, you have turned your mood into a happy one.
