Aromatherapy with Essential Oils

Essential Oils are used in aromatherapy to provide a warm, soothing scent without the mess of candle wax.  Essential oils have been extracted from plants to be used in aromatherapy for hundreds of years.  Methods of use can be a tea light fragrance oil burner or a more modern method, with an electric burner, plugged into an outlet to warm the oil, which enables the oil to give off the desired scent.

Pour the fragrance oil into the top of the oil burner.  Use only the amount that is recommended on your fragrance oil bottle.  Although it may not look like much, a minimal amount of oil will give off a strong scent.

Essential oils are a great way to keep your home smelling fresh.  Certain essential oils including lavender, sandalwood, sage, vanilla, and lemon (check out our website for a detailed list of essential oils, and their specific uses) that will create an excellent ambiance in the home.  They are known for their anti-stress, anti-anxiety, cleansing and soothing properties.  Your home will be a calmer and cleaner-scented place.
